Privacy and cookies
This site is my portfolio and it collects as little about visitors as possible. Below is everything that happens on the site.
Who is behind the site
The site is run by Martin Sirotný (lowkey visuals), Bratislava, Slovakia. For questions about your data, write to:
When you just browse
The site has no forms and no login, and its fonts, logos and opening pictures are stored on the site itself. The hosting provider, Websupport, keeps technical server logs like every web server does: IP address, time and the page opened. They are used for security and to keep the site running.
Videos from YouTube
Project videos and their preview pictures come from YouTube (Google). When they load, Google sees your IP address and browser details. I embed videos through youtube-nocookie.com, which remembers as little as possible, but once a video plays YouTube may store its own data on your device. The opening film on the page starts by itself after a moment, without sound.
Visitor statistics (Google Analytics)
If you agree, I measure visits with Google Analytics 4 from Google (Google Ireland Limited). Data may also be processed in the USA, where Google LLC takes part in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Google Analytics stores the cookies _ga and _ga_ with a random browser identifier, valid for 13 months. It records which pages you open, where you came from, your approximate location (country and city), your device and browser type, and clicks on the email address and on projects. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Advertising features and links to advertising profiles are switched off.
I only use the data to see what works on the site, and I keep it for at most 14 months. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, I do not ask and do not measure.
When you write to me
I use the email you send me only to reply and prepare a quote. I keep it while we work together and for a reasonable time afterwards. The legal basis is your request for a quote (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to portability, and to object. If processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. If you think I handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic:
